Molift's room-to-room functionality is ideal when users need to be transferred between two rail systems in adjoining rooms.
Since intruding into the doorframe's physical structure is not always possible, room-to-room functionality works perfectly with Molift Air and Molift Nomad.
Molift Air ceiling hoist
When using the Molift Air, there are two motors, one in each room. A room to room unit makes it easy to switch the sling bar from one motor to another in a seamless, smooth transfer between rooms.
How to move from room to room with Molift Air
Before hoisting the user, connect the room-to-room unit to the lifting strap coupling and then connect the sling bar to the room-to-room unit.
Remove the sling bar from the hoist in the second room you want to transfer to.
Hoist the user and lower him/her to a suitable height. Then, move the user into a position as close as possible to the room you wish to transfer them into.
Lower the lifting strap of the hoist without the sling and connect it to the room-to-room unit.
Start raising the lifting strap of the hoist in the room you want to transfer into.
When the secondary lifting strap is lifting the user, and some slack has been created on the first lifting strap, remove the pin from the room-to-room function and connect it to the lifting strap coupling.
Hook the hand control of the redundant hoist to the coupling and continue moving the user to the room they are transferring into.

Molift Nomad ceiling hoist
For the Molift Nomad, only one motor is required, and a secondary strap is used to transfer the user to the second rail system.
How to move from room to room with Molift Nomad
Make sure a Molift Nomad trolley for climbing is installed in both rail systems
Ensure a lifting strap with a carabiner is installed in the room you plan to transfer into.
Lower the user to a suitable height and move them into position as close as possible to the room you wish to transfer them into.
Connect the carabine of the secondary lifting strap to one of the carry handles on the Molift Nomad.
Lower the user until the secondary lifting strap is fully lifting the user and there is slack in the primary lifting strap.
Move the primary lifting strap from the trolley of the primary rail system to the trolley of the rail system in the room you are transferring into, preferably using the Molift Nomad Extension Arm.
Start lifting the user until they are fully lifted by the primary lifting strap and there is slack in the secondary lifting strap.
Remove the secondary lifting strap from the carry handle and continue transferring the user along the second rail system.
