The Convaid Cruiser is a popular 30° fixed-tilt pediatric wheelchair with best-in-class, convenient, lightweight, and compact folding. The Cruiser is made to order to meet each requirement. It comes equipped with Convaid’s proprietary self-tensioning seating system, Self-Tensio®, which provides increased seating tolerance and can help promote neutral pelvic positioning. It provides 5 years of growth capability through its seat depth extension system.

The Cruiser comes in either Textilene or Convaid standard upholstery that is removable, washable, and comes in a wide selection of colors. The Convaid Cruiser is easy to fold for maximal portability, available in sizes 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18 for up to 250-lbs. It comes with a transit option that meets WC19 transport safety standards. Convaid Standard Upholstery

This upholstery fabric features a soft, tactile feel with zippers in key areas for extra padding, providing support and improved positioning tailored to each user's needs.

Textilene Upholstery

This breathable upholstery fabric enhances the user's comfort by promoting airflow and support. It is easy to clean and resistant to fading and tearing, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Transit options

Transit ready frame

Meets or exceeds WC19/ISO7176-19 safety standards for safe transportation in a bus or van.

Transit lap belt

The crash-tested (SAE J2249) transit lap belt provides additional occupant safety when riding in a bus or van. The belt connects to the bus anchored shoulder restraint harness and is used in addition to the pelvic positioning belt.
