New free webinars introducing CABA - Clinical Assessment Body Alignment
What’s it about
These postural assessment courses aim to develop your knowledge of body alignment measurement and selection of equipment through an assessment framework. These courses will focus on the use of the standardised CABA assessment to ensure informed clinical decision- making regarding equipment solutions for children with disabilities. There are two parts to this webinar, the first is an introduction to the Clinical Assessment of Body Alignment (CABA) and the second looks at an evidence based approach to CABA.

The webinars will each be 30 minutes long.

Webinar host:
The webinar will be hosted by Dr Frances George who has more than 20 years of clinical experience as a physiotherapist in paediatrics and over 10 years in research. She is the developer of the CABA and has published and presented clinical research studies on children with disabilities in the UK and wider including the World Physio Congress.
Frances is a consultant physiotherapist at Humberston Park School, Grimsby, as strategic lead for clinical services and research, where she drives forward an innovative service for children with complex needs aged 3-25. She is a lead researcher on posture, assessment and currently has research projects on further development of the CABA as well as other areas such as dynamic standing and equipment matrix.
