Etac's 1st anniversary donation
The Rollettes Experience receives SEK 50 000 for their work to empower women with disabilities
We are pleased to announce the first recipient of our 50th anniversary donations. The Rollettes Experience in Los Angeles, USA, is a five-day event packed with activities all aimed at one purpose - empowering women with disabilities to live a life without limits.
It started with one person’s love for dancing and the desire to meet other women like herself. Today, the annual Rollettes Experience (RE) is held for the 11th time and attracts participants from all around the world. It is a place where women of all ages and disabilities can come together, connect and inspire each other. Attendees from previous years describe it as a life-changing event that has increased their confidence, helped them to achieve their goals, and given them a community to belong to.
RE is all about having fun, and the event offers:
- Dance classes and workshops – Finding confidence in your body and wheelchair
- Guest speakers – Incredible women doing incredible things
- Be Boundless seminars and panels on topics like advocacy, health and business
- Kid’s weekend – Meeting other kids and learning skills to become true role models
The Rollettes Experience weekend brings together women from all over the world who pursue boundlessness mentally, physically, and emotionally.

The event will take place July 19-23 and in addition to the donation, Etac will provide a wheelchair from our product brand Ki. This will be given as a prize to one of the attendees, and tailored to fit her individual needs. We are pleased to see our first anniversary donation go to such a great initiative. To promote inclusivity and enable participation, is perfectly in line with Etac’s values. We hope the wheelchair can help to improve the winner’s daily life, and that our donation as a whole can contribute to more women feeling part of a community where they can thrive and be inspired to reach their personal goals.
About Etac's donations
In connection to our 50th anniversary, we will make donations amounting to SEK 250 000 this year. This is the first in a series of five, and the contributions will be earmarked for organisations who work to encourage participation, inclusion, and engagement in their communities. Remaining recipients will be announced continuously, so stay tuned for more information throughout the year.
