Etac is a world-leading developer of innovative assistive devices and patient handling equipment. Since 1973, we have been committed to improving quality of life for the individual, family members and caregivers.
Through our specialised product brands, we offer state-of-the-art solutions for a wide range of daily needs and care settings, for people at all stages of life. Our products are designed to promote the individual’s abilities and support caregivers in their daily work – through high quality, user-friendly functionality, and by delivering great value over time.

Global reach with a personal touch
When our journey started in the early 70s, we set out to enable people to live as independently as possible by challenging that time’s notion of what assistive devices should be. The result became an unprecedented range of innovative products, placing Swedish design of assistive devices in a class of its own.
Today, we are a global business with products that make a positive difference to people’s lives on a daily basis, all over the world. Although we have grown significantly since our beginnings, we have maintained our 'small company feel'. To us, this combines the best of two worlds — global reach with a personal touch.
