Propulsion efficiency
Xact is a responsive, perfectly balanced, rigid wheelchair with a Maxx rear wheel high flange hub and 18 radial spoke design. With the right fit, low weight, and 2° camber for improved manoeuvrability, Xact minimises energy cost and enhances propulsion efficiency.
Out and about
When going out and about, simplicity and efficiency are key. It is essential to have a wheelchair that is effortless to manoeuvre and manage, both for the user and those offering assistance. With seamless folding and a transport weight of only 5.4 kg, you can trust Xact to ensure reliable performance, wherever you go.
Transfer
Xact facilitates transfers with increased accessibility and easy standing through swing away and removable leg supports. Additionally, strong and durable arm supports and mudguards provide stability. The 4° seat inclination promotes the position in the seat while not limiting the transitions between seating and standing.
3A back system
Xact features the multiadjustable 3A back system to provide optimal postural support for everybody. The 3A back system is named after Altus, Altitudo, and Angulus, Latin words for depth, height and angle, describing the unique built-in adaptions. Always with adjustment of back-to-seat angle, back height, lumbar angle, tension adjustable back strap and positioning accessories.
The 3A back system allows for sufficiant support of the pelvis — the key for stable upper body posture since affecting the curvature of the spine. Supported seating has a positive influence on wheelchair propulsion skills and seating tolerance over time.

Body shapes
In a seated position, the shape and support for the upper body, from the pelvis and up, are of the utmost importance. With Xact, you can create shape to strengthen abilities, prevent impairments, and simply improve sitting tolerance over time, no matter the user´s body shape. Use the 3A back system adjustments, accessories, and Always-fit solution to achieve the shape and support needed for 9 different body shapes.
Hemi
Xact can be adjusted and adapted for individuals with a hemiplegic condition. It offers the possibility of one-arm drive, one-hand brake, adapted arm and leg supports, and has a low seat height with 20" wheels, providing sufficient reach for foot propulsion. Additionally, many more integrated adjustments and other accessories are available to accommodate the needs of those with hemiplegia.
Amputee
For individuals with an amputation, the change in center of gravity may be compensated by moving the rear wheel axle towards the back which might jeopardize comfortable shoulder position. Xact provides accessories to accommodate for the lack of weight in front, to support the limb, and 2 solutions for attaching hip belts to strengthen the position in the seat.
Compatibility
With a wide selection of more than 50 accessories for Xact, the assessment specific to the user´s needs are simplified and they are most often compatible with our other wheelchair models such as Cross 6 and Prio. With high compatibility, optimal shape and support can be achieved with fewer parts.
Always-fit
With Always-fit accessories always at hand, the optimal shape and support can be achieved with minimal effort. With i.g. wedges in 5 different versions, side cushions, back widening and pressure redistribution pads in your toolbox, all of which are compatible and can be used together, you can create the extra postural support needed.
Caregiver convenience
Xact is designed for caregiver convenience and provides effortless operation. Its height-adjustable push handles offer ergonomic comfort, while its lightweight frame ensures easy lifting. The optional drum brake for 20", 22", and 24" wheels also enhances manoeuvrability in all conditions.
Smålandic innovation
Småland, a southern Swedish region celebrated for its innovation, is where Etac first envisioned creating wheelchairs that enhance individual abilities. It is the birthplace of the original strap back, invented in 1987, which continues to be a fundamental feature of Etac wheelchairs.
